India could have been a super-power but India has to face a lot of obstacles like low unemployment rate or low literacy rate and poor healthcare.All of these obstacles can be traced back to misuse of power among the authorities.The misuse of power can be termed as Corruption.Corruption is rampant in the society.The act of using one's position of power in an abusive way. This can take many forms, such as taking advantage of someone, gaining access to information that shouldn't be accessible to the public, or just manipulating someone with the ability to punish them if they don't comply.


Power has and will always be the most addictive that is present in all of humanity.Power can be obtained by two methods, either by money or by violence.Power has allowed people to either cover up their wrong doings or fastening process for their own benefits.The misuse of power can be seen during elections and campaigning for elections.Political parties use all wrong methods to win.Buying votes and booth-capturing often happens. 

Unless the government does not take  strict measures against such people,the development of India will be a stunted.

  I believe that the statement is incomplete,I don't think the just Love of Money is the cause of all evil.I believe “Love of money is the root of half the evil in the world; lack of money is the root of the other half.” Both these statements are broadly true. The implications of the first statement are obvious enough the love and lure of wealth generally prompt people to resort to all sorts of malpractices, such as hoarding, black market, deception, miserliness, greed and dishonesty.
