Should Parents Allow Children to take their own Decisions

Image
The world in the past 20-25 years, has gone through  gazillion changes in every mode and  aspect of life which include parenting and socializing.Parenting has been the most respectable and noble job because it is done with complete honesty and will and no one can fire you from it on any circumstances.Teenagers are often found saying, ”Why don't you give us freedom ?”  Nobody can actually answer that question because everybody thinks it is for your good. But I disagree because the definition of freedom for teenagers is fundamentally wrong .The allowance to party and make a mess of your life is not freedom. _______________________________________________________________ I firmly believe that children should be allowed to make their own decisions because our generation has been known all over the world to do ‘ What we want’ and we are persistent to keep up with all ways our parents try to stop us.Decision making is an integral life skill that each child should po...

Aatmanirbhar Bharat: Overcoming Gender, Caste and Ethnic biases

Aatmanirbhar Bharat: Overcoming Gender, Caste and Ethnic biases Aatmanirbhar Bharat (Translation:“Self-Reliant India ”) is the vision of the Prime-Minister of India,to make India a self reliant Nation. India has been independent for seventy-three years . We have progressed in these years because of our diversity, but it has also been the reason that has pulled us down. Diversity here refers to discrimination on the basis of Gender, Caste and Ethnics. An Aatmanirbhar India can only be achieved if we see everyone with “The eyes of Fraternity ” India is a country where Social evils have prevailed from a long time such as Sati, Dowry, Caste-system, Untouchability, Child marriage and racial discrimination. Women were subjugated to all kinds of indignities and social isolation like not having the right to education or the right to express her opinion. In absolute terms, the child sex ratio in India stands at 927 girl children per 1,000 boy children during 1947 , due to practices such female ...

Are we really helping beggars when we give them money?

Image
We can often see beggars at the corners of streets or roads with shabby clothes sitting on the ground, stretching out their hands and there would also be a bowl or something concave with some coins in Some of them seem to be disabled, some of them carry their children and beg money for the others sing sadly in front of you we would feel sorry while we see such people and cannot help loving compassion for these beggars so we give money to them. Nevertheless, It would be better not to give money or to show sympathy to the beggars because we do not know if they are really beggars or homeless. Most of them are just too lazy to do any work  and also some of them are drug addicts who will spend the money on drugs or alcohol. As the word beggar means a person that begs for money or food, it does not mean the same as homeless or poverty stricken. There is no proof that those who are lying on the streets are actually homeless. They could go home, into the warmth, with their loving fami...

Love of money is the cause of all the evil in the world

Image
I believe that the statement is incomplete,I don't think the just Love of Money is the cause of all evil.I believe “Love of money is the root of half the evil in the world; lack of money is the root of the other half.” Both these statements are broadly true. The implications of the first statement are obvious enough the love and lure of wealth generally prompt people to resort to all sorts of malpractices, such as hoarding, black market, deception, miserliness, greed and dishonesty. Any one who develops this madness for money becomes, like the greedy Jew and the miserly Slot, a devotee, or rather a slave, of the goddess of wealth. He earns and hoards money by every possible means, denying himself and his wife and children a good living in the attempt to save every penny he can lay his hands upon. Love of money often compels a person to take to evil and antisocial habits, and consequently he is not tolerated or welcomed in decent in a Honest society. Such lure also leads people to...

Deceptive Adverisement

Image
Companies use deception to allure the public to buy their goods. Is it Correct? Deceptive advertising, also known as false advertising, refers to a manufacturer's use of confusing, misleading, or blatantly untrue statements when promoting a product. In today’s time we come across a plethora of advertising via various mediums like Outdoor, Print, TV and Online. If done ethically, advertising is beneficial to advertisers as well as consumers. However there is a rising concern about some companies using unethical methods of advertising which is having a harmful effect on society. In the following paragraphs I will delve deeper on the issue. In today’s time, TV viewers get to see a lot of advertisements during breaks in between their favourite TV programs. This diverts their concentration thereby reducing entertainment value of the programs they are watching. Another drawback attributed to advertising is that kids and youngsters fall prey to appealing advertising of fast foods chains lik...

Perspective

Perspective Whenever we lie to our parents we always think that we do it to save ourselves from the thrashing and the scolding.Have you ever wondered that maybe we lie to make them feel happy and allow them to skip the pain that  can make them feel like a failure. This is the difference in perspective which can make us a compulsive liar or just a person who doesn't want his parents to feel ashamed and bad. Perspective changes our lives because someday our lives may depend on it, not using life just as a phrase. All the superheroes we see win battle and save the battle because of their perspective. I would not count revenge as perspective because revenge is personal satisfaction which is just greed on basis

Disabled People

Image
DISABLED PEOPLE India is the largest democratic country in the world and is on its way to become a key player in the global scenario. It is our responsibility to ensure that this developmental cycle touches all the citizens of this country – the able and, especially, the disabled, who are often referred to as the invisible minority. But before we stamp them as a minority, let us consider the recent census reports. According to the 2001 census the government figure for the physically handicapped was 2.1% of the entire population. A reserved guess would place that figure between seven to ten crores. Governments around the world are taking appropriate measures to meet the requirements of disabled individuals, however, still in some countries disabled people are deprived of such adequate facilities. The National Policy identifies the Persons With Disabilities (PWD) as necessary and valuable assets of this ...

Some people think that it is very important to get a university education

Image
A degree without relevant skills is an empty word. So, to me, skills without a degree are more important than a degree without skills. Nowadays university education plays a predominant role all over the world and some people support university education, whereas others indulge to appreciate the youngsters to enroll into trading activities such as plumbing, painting or building to enrich their knowledge.  Skill and degree are basically two sides of the same coin, and  only if both work hand in hand can a person be successful or even earn enough to survive. I have been brought up in India which is the country of knowledge but still works on a stereotype  that only if you have a degree you are worthwhile but this stereotype has either killed their skills set  or disregarded them. Engineering is considered as a very respectful degree but with the abundant engineers in the market the unemployment rate is increasing, and as a matter of fact, 80% of Engineers in India are u...

Photographs

Image
Photographs  Going by definition, a photograph is a picture created using a camera, in which an image is focused on to light-sensitive material and then made visible and permanent by chemical treatment, or stored digitally. I do not want to sound like a nerd because for me, a photograph is a piece of paper that carries memories, either pleasant or unpleasant/ awful.Photographs can be the reason for us to sit together, laugh and recollect memories. Also, they sometimes bring tears to our eyes while remembering someone or some event. Photographs are also used as evidence to prove what is right or wrong. Photographs have made us aware about many things that have happened since 1816. We belong to the generation which doesn't really need to have photographs because of the digital progress we have made.My parents belong to the 80's so they have photos of Chess clubs and obscure bands ...

Review Of A Beast

Image
One Plus 8 OnePlus has always been known for its design simplicity and ease of use with a power packed list of Specs. And the OnePlus 8 isn’t any different, with a Snapdragon 865, an 8 core, 2.84GHz processor designed for extreme graphic rendering and ultra fast processing supporting intuitive AI and blazing fast 5G connectivity. The only let down with this device, it breaks OnePlus original price point advantage at 50,000 for the most used model 12+256. The cameras are crisp as always and so is the 90Hz switchable refresh rate display. The phone can take heavy loads for extended periods of time and has a dangerously fast Warp Charge with 30W of charging power. Onto the review: On first glance the sleek unibody design and the triple vertical camera design looks stellar in the right light. With use it is quick to realize what a difference a 90Hz display makes to not only gaming but also daily use, wit...
